PHOTO BLOG: Nintendo Amiibo Update: Terror Twilight

Back now after a holiday break and family trip at Yosemite to ring in the New Year, I’ve got another small batch of snaps to share! It was a really tough choice to decide which amiibo figures I wanted to capture in a snowy environment. But listening to a lot of Nintendo music throughout December pulled from snow stages, the Snowpeak theme from Twilight Princess kept jumping out at me. Good thing, I didn’t sleep on that HD box set for Wii U that included Wolf Link and Midna!

Turned out pretty nice huh? My original idea was to take both the wolf and regular Link below and photograph them with an identical background. Kinda like a before and after transformation type of thing. But it turns out Yosemite is a pretty scenic joint so I decided to give each of them their own vibe.

This is still one of my absolute favorite sculpts from the Zelda line. Thanks again Nerdman Robman!

A while back I also decided to start getting pics of each figure from the Mario series. So now beginning with Peach, expect the next batch to be populated by residents of the mushroom kingdom.

This last one for now is a bit of a cheat as it’s actually a small ornament and not an amiibo. But until Nintendo makes an official one based on the great Super Mario Galaxy games, I guess I just gotta do what I gotta do!
